Natalya Shelburne

Natalya Shelburne is a New York based designer, developer, author, educator, speaker, artist, and doer of good deeds. She is currently a senior manager of web design and infrastructure at GitHub, was previously a senior software engineer at The New York Times, and has been an occasional instructor at Harvard Extension School. Natalya holds bachelor's degrees in Studio Art and Psychology, and a master's degree in Creativity and Talent Development. Crossing disciplines and building bridges between design and engineering is at the foundation of much of her work.

When she's not talking about Design Engineering, she advocates for improving access to childcare and inclusive policies to support people to do their best work.
