Eat, drink, and be podcast: about our sponsors
You may have noticed the logos in our sidebar and wondered, just who are these Event Apart sponsors and what exactly are they sponsoring? Glad you asked.
These sponsors are forward-thinking design and web associations and companies and they are sponsoring food, beverages, and those audio feeds the kids like so much.
Taking them alphabetically, we’re proud to announce that AIGA, the professional association for design, will sponsor a series of Event Apart podcasts starting in the next week or so. These miniature audio events will feature dialogs between an AIGA principal and your Event Apart hosts.
Meanwhile, Media Temple (“set your sites on us”), a renowned web host and supporter of web and design arts, is sponsoring the show’s catered lunch. We’ll be providing fine catered food and drink all day long, of course — there’s nothing like the smell of cheesecake to invigorate a discussion about design problems — but lunch is on Media Temple’s dime.
And from a previous entry, you already know that the worthies at Pixelworthy are sponsoring a drink fest after the show. (Don’t drink too much: you might miss a job opportunity at one of the east coast’s great, standards-aware design firms.)
All our sponsors will be representing at the event. Tell ’em thanks, or just howdy.
